Nancy Guthrie Call-in Show
Three weeks after the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, my co-producer and I were tasked with putting together a show that felt fresh and new, despite having few developments to work with. While logistically challenging, the call in show was a unique way to engage with our audience and keep the focus on a story that was doing well for the network.
The Killing of Charlie Kirk
I was one of the first people on the ground after Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at Utah Valley University in Provo. I worked as the coordinating producer, deciding crew assignments, communicating with officials, and overseeing the production of our 45 minute special report a few days later.
Veterans Sickened, Ignored by DOD
I was the sole producer on the multi-day shoot for this special report. We spent two days with a group of Air Force veterans who served together near Area 51 in the 80’s and 90’s. A few years ago, they came to the eerie discovery they all face very similar health issues — symptoms they believe were caused by exposure to radioactive material on base. Our reporting has ultimately spurred action in Congress, getting these veterans closer than ever to the compensation they say they are owed.
Secret Government Testing in St. Louis
Our investigation sheds light on chemical weapons testing that happened unbeknownst to the residents of the Pruitt-Igoe housing projects. The living residents share their experiences and health issues with us, while we pressed the Army for answers.
